Meet at the Barn-dominium to disperse to three locations on our ranch. If you don't own a firearm there are plenty of others that do.

Attendants at the Barn-dominium will guide you to what we call the Robinson Crusoe tree for an enjoyable ceremony.

A ranch-style reception will follow immediately after in the Barn-dominium complete with everything grilled one could imagine, an open bar and a delicious wedding cake for dessert.

After dinner, get ready to throw down on the dance floor to some old school funk, 90's East Coast - West Coast, dance club greatest hits and some rock plus country hits!

The origins of sky lanterns are believed to date back over two thousand years to ancient China during the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220 AD). The invention of these lanterns is often attributed to a military strategist and scholar named Zhuge Liang. Initially, they were known as Kongming lanterns, named after the courtesy name of Zhuge Liang, Kongming.

Over time, sky lanterns transitioned from military tools to symbols of hope, good luck, and celebration. For our wedding we invite guests to join us as we use the lanterns for two reasons:

1. Spiritual Connection: In some cultures, lanterns are associated with spiritual practices and rituals. They are used to connect with ancestors or as offerings to deities, symbolizing a bridge between the earthly and celestial realms. Join Eric and MJ as they pay homage to loved ones who are no longer with us on earth but with them in spirit and prayer as they celebrate joining as one.

2. Celebration and Joy: Sky lanterns are released during festivities and celebrations worldwide. Their warm glow and graceful ascent symbolize joy, prosperity, and unity. What better way symbolize the unity of Eric and MJ then lighting the sky with lanterns!
